Dr. Celia Waterhouse

I work best with those who are feeling uninspired or lost in their careers, their relationships, or in their overall path in life. My clients usually are either transitioning to a novel situation or unsure of how to transition through a challenge to come out whole on the other side. Many of my clients feel stagnant and wonder how to utilize their current skills and talents to be able to make a practical change. I am most creative with clients who dare to dream big.

Clients generally start out in a state of uncertainty and fear of their current situation (loss of job, low confidence or self-esteem to move forward, no sense of purpose). From there, we work systematically to bring them to a place where they are unstuck and are able to see their present and their future more clearly. Most recently, I assisted one young adult from living at home with her parents, to starting and running a very successful digital marketing agency.

As far as certifications and education, I have a B.S. in Agricultural and Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis and a Veterinary Science degree from the University of Sydney.  I have worked in a variety of fields and have experience in, just to name a few: veterinary medicine, project management, property development, property management, hospitality, acting, modeling, singing, musician, business consulting, facilitation and coaching, marketing (both traditional and online), business development, advisor, and entrepreneur.

Having had the unique opportunity to work and adapt in a variety of different fields, both scientific and artistic, (left- and right-brained!), I love working with clients who just need a little push to allow themselves to dream big and grow beyond what they even thought was possible.

Actually, the word “seeing the light” seems to be a common theme – clients have said they feel like their lives, once viewed in black and white, are now seeing their lives not only in color, but in full HD. I’ve always loved that one.

I work on the big picture of what drives a person. We find intention and purpose first, and from there, we work on dissolving fears and blockages that prevent them from propelling forward. My clients must understand themselves first before tackling perceived restrictions which can affect every aspect of their lives and businesses. From there, it’s time to get creative and have fun coming up with what’s possible. I am an out-of-the-box type of consultant, with no boundaries on how big you dare to dream. I believe in finding a way to turn dreams into a realistic life goal.

My clients go from feeling uncertain and trapped within their own minds and within their current situation in life, to running profitable, successful businesses and are living their lives with more certainty, clarity and balance. Most of them just need help having someone “pull the curtains back” to see the big picture.
